Day One!
All very excited and eager to get
out and explore New York City, we all were out by of the hotel by 9. Our first
stop was to the Times Square Tower, to see the lovely Ann Inc team.
They had arranged breakfast and a
number of inspirational people within the business to talk to us about Ann
Taylor, Loft, their production line, how they brand themselves and possible
career opportunities.
The sheer volume of information
they gave us was incredible and I think many of us were a little dazed but never
the less inspired.
At the end they did a quick quiz
to test us on how well we were listening. I answered a question correctly and
got this (above) beautiful Loft bracelet as a prize J
After the Ann Inc orientation and
breakfast, we all went downstairs to their Loft store. I think the store summed
up the timeless, American Classic, versatile image that the Ann Inc team had
just explained to us. I managed to take a few images of the inside of the store:
they used lots of bright lighting, collaged images of there current advertising
campaign, and photo frame wall displays, as well as mannequins with the date Loft was established.
